Images of Junagadh, again from my recent visit to Saurashtra. The architecture of the Jama Masjid of Junagadh is at the pinnacle of the Indo-Saracenic architecture tradition in west India. Indo-Saracenic architecture is a culmination on stylistic elements from Hindu, Muslim and Victorian architecture.
Some pictures from my recent trip to Saurashtra with friends. These have been taken at the Sasan-Gir Asiatic Lion reserve where we spent two days. The recently completed Lion census records a 15% increase in the lion population from 350 to 411.
